What this program involves:
After filling out a comprehensive symptom survey, diet journal and medication/supplement list, you will schedule a time to meet with Doctor Smith. During this consultation, Dr. Smith will obtain a comprehensive history of all the symptoms you are experiencing as well as your entire health history. He will then obtain your vital signs, body fat percentage, visceral fat rating, muscle mass, physique rating and bone mass. Based on the consultation and findings, he will order a comprehensive blood work-up. If necessary, he will order other testing such as hair or stool analysis.
After receiving the results of this testing, Dr. Smith will analyze them and put together a comprehensive "Nutritional Makeover". This Nutritional Makeover will include an analysis of your diet journal, medications with side effects and drug-nutrient depletion, diet changes to make (including foods to avoid and foods to consume often) and supplements necessary to address your specific deficiencies. The report you receive will be 30-40 pages long.
You will begin the program and stay on it for three months, strictly following all recommendations. At the end of three months, blood testing will be repeated. Dr. Smith will provide a brief follow-up report on your status, and make any necessary changes. This process will be repeated until you and Dr. Smith are satisfied with your progress and your level of health.

What is the goal of the program?
The key to this program is the analysis of your blood work and other test results to determine frank abnormalities or areas in which you are functioning outside of the optimal range. Dr. Smith can then target nutrition to impact key organ systems or physiologic processes. This program will give you an objective means of measuring how healthy you are becoming.
The goal of this program is not to "cure" any specific disease. The goal is to target nutrition to areas of your body which are underperforming or overperforming, which will in turn make you a healthier person. Once you become healthier, your body will start working better and in many cases will heal itself.
Again, the key to the program is that the results are objective. You will be able to track the changes in your blood work over time and get numerical results.
